آزمون CAE چیست؟
CAE مخفف Certificate In Advanced English می باشد که به عنوان یکی از معتبرترین آزمون های دانشگاه کمبریج انگلستان است.این آزمون سطح علمی زبان آموزان را در سطح پیشرفته مورد ارزیابی قرار می دهد.
سالانه بیش از یک میلیون نفر در سراسر جهان در آزمون های بین المللی زبان کمبریج شرکت می کنند و گواهینامه های صادر شده از طرف این دانشگاه توسط تعداد زیادی از دانشگاه ها و موسسات آموزشی به رسمیت شناخته می شود.به عنوان مثال اداره مهاجرت استرالیا از سال 2015 مدرک CAE را برای تمام ویزاها قبول می کند.
محتویات آزمون CAE چگونه است؟
این آزمون 5 ساعت طول می کشد و شامل 5 بخش است : گفت و شنود-درک مطلب-نگارش و کاربرد زبان.
کسب نمره قبولی در این آزمون به صورت Pass(A,B,C) و نمره های (D,E,U) fail می باشد.همه مهارت ها در این آزمون به یک میزان اهمیت دارند و نمره کل برآیند هر چهار مهارت می باشد.
معمولا CAE معادل نمره 7 الی 8 آیلتس و 110 الی 120 تافل می باشد .
از نکات جالب این آزمون می توان گفت که مدرک آن دارای تاریخ انقضا نمی باشد و اساسا اعتبار تمامی گواهینامه های صادر شده از دانشگاه کمبریج بدون محدودیت بازه زمانی است.
دوره CAE در مرکز زبان های خارجی سازمان جهاد دانشگاهی تهران از سالهای گذشته توسط تیم اساتید مجرب و با تجربه این حوزه ارائه می شده است و از لحاظ ساختاری و زمان بندی شامل 4 ترم 40 ساعته می باشد.
هر ترم در یک فصل سال و به مدت ده هفته برگزار می گردد.
CAE Course:
CAE, or the Certificate of Advanced English, is an international certificate corresponding to level C1 of Council of Europe which indicates effective proficiency. The course is in 4 semesters preparing students to acquire grade A in the final exam. After the course, students will be provided with a course-completion degree and are qualified to take the exam.
Exam Structure:
The final exam consists of 5 papers that each constitutes 20% of the total marks. In order to acquire a passing grade, students need to gain at least 60% of the total marks available. The mentioned 5 papers include:
- Paper 1, Reading (1 hour and 15 minutes): 4 parts and a total of 34 different question types such as themed texts, gapped texts, multiple choice, multiple matching
- Paper 2, Writing (1 hour and 30 minutes): a total of 2 writing tasks including one compulsory contextualized task based on a text and one contextualized task as an answer to one of the 4 or 5 questions
- Paper 3, Use of English (1 hour): 5 parts and a total of 50 different question types including multiple choice cloze, open cloze, word formation, gapped sentences, key word transformation, with a focus on understanding elements of language such as grammar, lexis, word formation, lexical and grammatical transformations, and spelling
- Paper 4, Listening (about 40 minutes): 4 parts and a total of 30 questions including different listening tasks such as monologues and conversations
- Part 5, Speaking (15 minutes): 4 parts including a two-way conversation with the interlocutor, an individual long turn and brief responses, a two-way interaction between candidates, and a two-way conversation with the interlocutor like the first part
